Camp Charis is an overnight camp for children with an old west, pioneer motif. Exciting Bible-centered programs allow children and teens to learn and grow while participating in age-appropriate activities.

Camp Charis is located on 166 acres in beautiful southwest Georgia between Albany, Thomasville and Bainbridge. Tallahassee, Florida is only one hour away while Dothan Alabama and Valdosta, Georgia are within two hours drive.

Children sleep safely in cabins and covered wagons with their friends – just like the old pioneers. There are 80 beds in wagons and cabins for campers and staff. All staff are thoroughly screened and trained to provide safe and Godly leadership. Medical assistance is readily available.

Outdoor activities include swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking, archery, BB guns, tennis, basketball, group games and activities, team building exercises and more! Crafts, games, pool, ping pong, foosball and more are availble indoors! We also include daily devotionals, Bible times, skits, missionary moments, music and lots of time interacting with counselors!
