Special Events

Camp Charis has activities for you and your family throughout the year. Check the schedule and choose the events that interest you and get involved!

Weekend Sessions are for campers and teens who don’t want to wait until next summer to see their friends and have fun at camp. It is also an excellent way for new campers to get a taste of Camp Charis. Sessions run from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.

Old Home Christmas is an annual community event (early to mid December) that celebrates the birth of Christ. Come enjoy a family time of dinner, hayrides, caroling, bonfire and entertainment while surrounded by thousands of lights. Funds raised at this event are used to help pay our mortgage payments.

Park Day is a time to come and enjoy Camp Charis.  Come and enjoy swimming, fishing, yard sale, family entertainment, game and much more.  Yard Sale is from 8am-2pm, Snack Shack (Hamburgers and Hot dogs)is available 8am-8pm and dinner plates ($6)are available 5pm-7pm.  Admittance is free with additional fees for personal fishing boats ($15/day)and canoe/rowboat rental for fishing ($15/day).  Fees for shore fishing and swimming are $1/person.
