Camp Charis has activities for you and your family throughout the year. Check the schedule and choose the events that interest you and get involved!

Weekend Sessions are for campers and teens who don’t want to wait until next summer to see their friends and have fun at camp. It is also an excellent way for new campers to get a taste of Camp Charis. Sessions run from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.

Camp Charis Family Appreciation BBQ gives us the opportunity to say thank you to supporters, camp families, sponsors, volunteers, and friends. We also look back over the past camp year to give God the thanks and glory for what He has accomplished.

Old Home Christmas is an annual community event (early to mid December) that celebrates the birth of Christ. Come enjoy a family time of dinner, hayrides, caroling, bonfire and entertainment while surrounded by thousands of lights. Funds raised at this event are used to help pay our mortgage payments.

The Benefit Yard Sale, Pancake Breakfast & Fish Fry is a huge yard sale held the first Saturday in February to raise funds for Camp Charis mortgage payments. There is furniture, clothing, house wares, toys, tools, baked goods and more! You can make tax-deductible donations of your used things and come shopping for things you need. Breakfast and lunch can be purchase right on the grounds.

Fam Fest is an annual festival for families to come enjoy our beautiful grounds, music, activities and great food in early April. Events include live entertainment, youth fishing and tennis tournaments, 1 mile and 5k races, interactive children’s crafts, arts & crafts booths, swimming, great food and more! There is no admission fee. Don’t miss it!
